Casual lessons rates
Fees include:
The lesson;
Marking the homework;
Marking practice exams prior to the exam; and
Feedback on the student’s progress.
For grades 5 and 6 the fees also include additional material on the set works, music history, composers and instruments.
Regular weekly lessons
Fees inclusive of GST are as follows:
Grades 1 and 2: $40 per 30 minute lesson.
Grades 3 and 4: $50 per 30 minute lesson.
Grade 5: $70 per 40 minute lesson.
Grade 6: $75 per 40 minute lesson.

Students are invoiced each school term and are required to pay for the term’s lessons by bank transfer within 14 days of issue of the account. Lessons are held on public holidays during a school term unless otherwise indicated.
If a student commences lessons after the beginning of the term, you will be invoiced for the number of lessons remaining for that term.
If a student would like lessons during school holidays, we can usually accommodate that.
Progress reports are provided each term and more frequently if there is a particular concern.
Where we are given at least 24 hours notice, we will reschedule the lesson which may mean a make up lesson during school holidays. No refund will be given.
Where less notice is given, we will attempt to reschedule the lesson at our discretion. No refund will be given.
There is no refund or rescheduling of lessons where a student has forgotten their lesson or we have received less than 15 minutes notice of a missed lesson.
Where the teacher cannot make a lesson, we will reschedule the lesson.
If the student is surfing the net, sending emails or playing on their phone during the lesson, a warning will be issued to the student direct. If it happens a second time, the student’s parent/care giver will be informed. If it happens a third time, lessons will terminate and there will be no refund of the fee.

Grade 5: $85 per 40 minute lesson.
Grade 6: $95 per 40 minute lesson.
